Pretty Despondent Right About Now......
Was given a very generous and wonderful gift of enough platinum to purchase a Rune of Superior Vigor for my old armor and was then even more excited that I was able to salvage the Rune to place on my new upgraded armor after I reached Bergen Hot Springs and all was right with the world.
I was so psyched! But you know the story doesn't end there, don't you?
Well, I'm not sure which is the culprit but I then also salvaged a Rune of Minor Blood from the old armor and purchased a Radiant Insignia and happily, unknowingly but very foolishly placed them on my Tunic, consequently blowing out my Superior Vigor.
I wanted to cry when I realised how ponderous my blunder was. I truly hope that there will come a time when the software will give you a warning when you are about to do something really stupid like that. Well, live and learn. (albeit, an extremely expensive lesson )
Anyway, that's my rant for this evening, carry on.

There is a message screen that asks you if you are sure you wish to continue. I do agree that perhaps it should have a small message below the box mentioning what mod/rune/insignia/inscription is being replaced.

Lmao. It gives you a a message when you are about to replace a rune or insignia on a piece of armor. Just gotta be a little more observant next time.

I just realized that over the course of 4 years, I still have yet to buy a superior vigor rune. Unless you count the time during the Great GW Stock Market Crash of March 06. But there was a roll-back, so I still don't have one. :/
Minor vigor ftw.

You desperately need a trip to your ophthalmologist if you have the nerve to 'beg to differ' about a warning.
Now i fully understand why there are unnecessarily large, flashy, obnoxious, i-dont-need-a-sign-for-that-cause-its-common-sense, warnings on nearly every household product... for people like this!
Cause the regular sized fair warnings just don't cut it.
/edit: example. Warning labels like this are made for people like you.

Of course we do. Even i've been known to help a new player out every now and then. Plus, i gotta give you the obligatory 'we were all newbs at once point' cause it's very true. But other than random heroes, compassion is given where compassion is due. In other words, not to the new players who make foolish mistakes then whine about it.

Once upon a time (before they added the "are you sure?" warning for equipped items), as I was selling an inventory full of junk to the merchant, I mistakenly sold all of my equipped weapons. D'OH! The moral of the story: Not paying attention / being in a hurry can bite anyone in the behind.

Yeah, perhaps it was a bit whiney (I tried not to make it so) but the rant/whine had a bit of a cathartic effect, so I felt a little better after getting it out in words.
My apologies to those that I "begged to differ" with, it was late and I probably did miss it. (I'll check with my opthamologist and my shrink on Monday)
Guess I'm still more of a "noob" than a "newb."

just use a major... it's cheaper.
also unless you are in pvp and every hp counts, an extra 9 hp in pve means jack all.

And I'd agree on this, apart from the fact I can't get my head around having an extra 41hp. Just doesn't seem right. I'd buy more if they were +40hp. Guess I just like round numbers

Sucks to be you?
The game is idiot proof. Seriously. Everything you do comes with warnings in this game. To ignore them is your own fault.
Enjoy been poor.
